We stock these at grill-repair.com but i'm not sure if i'm allowed to say that on this site. most barbecues use the qcc handwheel because the cylinder valve indicates upgraded safety features required by law. however, foreign barbecues and some high-BTU appliances will still use the older pol attachment with the male reverse threads because the seal is much tighter and the finer threads make it impossible to accidentally cause a leak by cross-threading the attachment.

A hardware store, a home center (such as Menard's, Home Depot, Meijer, Lowe;s, etc.), or an appliance dealer should be able to supply you with the part you need.
God bless your efforts.

The hose connection nipple is smaller than the garden hose-connector and leakes. Do I need a special hose or will putting plumbers tape on the nipple stop the leak?

No, that would probably leak too. What you need to do, is go to your local hardware store or home center (Plumbing Dept) and purchase a female to male connector. The female end is to connect to the unit's male hose connection and the other (Male) end, needs to be the same size for garden hose connection. Make sure that you use an appropriately sized washer for the Female end.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Normally, at least on an American grill hose/regulator assembly are a universal fit. And both ends of the hose have female couplings. I would think it would be the same on German Models too. For the connection to the grill, the hose coupling size is 3/8" ID.

First two burners work fine but when I turn on third burner (back) it cuts out the whole grill on the Weber genesis

This is very common with faulty regulators. The regulator is located on the hose (it is a metal silver disc located at the end of the hose where the hose attaches to the propane tank.)

To replace the hose and regulator, you need to detach the hose from the grill. Your local grill store should have replacement hose and regulators.

Hope this helps.

Gas is barely flowing-used to hear hiss before I lit. Tried replacing pressure valve and got a new tank of gas. Also disassembled manifold and cleaned out all burners.

I had the same problem years ago with an old charbroil and ended up fixing by replacing the threaded female gas connector on the regulator with one of the old style male inside threaded type. This is the connector that connects the hose/regulator to the propane tank.

you can hold the tools between you legs and use your good hand to work the fitting

I purchased the Porter Cable 20 piece accessory kit part A00438, and no idea on how to assemble this. No instructions included either. This is the kit that allows to put airpressure in your car, bikes,...

First get some teflon thread tape, for applying 2 or 3 tightly wrapped turns around the male threaded quick-disconnect adapters, threaded end on your air hose and compressor before installation.
Note: remember that the female quick-disconnect adapter is also a check valve that will only release air when a male quick-disconnect adapter is inserted, i.e. do not install a  male quick-disconnect adapter directly to an air compressor outlet.
Note 2:Always remember to wear approved eye protection when operating air tools.
Start by installing the female quick-disconnect adapters on a male threaded end of the air hose and on to the outlet port on the air compressor tighten the connections with two open end wrench's. Then install the male quick-disconnect adapters to the other end of the hose, blow-gun tool, and the air chuck tool, (tighten as described above). The other implements in the kit (wire brush attachment, inflation needle, etc...) can be threaded in to the outlet port of the blow-gun as needed.
The operation of connecting  quick-disconnects are as follows: Grasp the tool in one hand, and with the other hand grasp the air line near the end leaving the thumb and fore finger free to operate the spring loaded outer release cylinder on the female quick-disconnect by pulling back on it. With the cylinder pulled back, insert the male quick-disconnect adapter in to the female quick-disconnect adapter, then release the thumb and fore finger from the outter release cylinder, thus locking the two together. check to be sure the lock has engaged by lightly pulling at the tool. Reversing this process will disengage the tool from the air line.
Hope this helps Good luck

Gas Flow Problem

Replace the regulator and hose assembly that screws onto the propane bottle. I had the same problem on two patio heaters and my 4 burner grill. You can get regulators and hose at Home Depot, Lowes, Northern, probably Meijers, etc. Check the fitting on the end of the hose for the correct gender, male or female, size, and hose length. You can get a fitting in the plumbing department to change the gender.

I can all but give you money that this will fix it.
