Normally in the boot options, press F8 key on boot and there should be a repair option up the top, there is also factory restore options if you press the right Keys on boot up. i think that F11 F12 may be the keys.

You can try pressing the F8 key at bootup to get the boot screen, and select the option " use last known good configuation" and press enter. if that dosn't work, you can do the same thing only select SAFE MODE and press enter, an that should get you into windows. then you an go t Start/accessories/systemtools/system restore, and restore th system back to a date before your problem started.

unplug the power supply remove the laptop battery then locate your bios battery and disconect it next wait abouy 15 minutes plug in the bios battry then connect the power supply turn on your computer turn off your computer then put in your battery start up your computer and your passwords should be reset

Your motherboard does not support the new SATA II HDD. You will need to go to the HP website and download the driver to a flash disk and then when you install Windows it will ask if you wish to install drivers you would select yes and then open the flash disk - Windows will install the driver itself.
The other way is a bit more tricky and that's to go back to your old HDD and create a custom slipstreamed windows CD with your new driver installed as standard.
