Try restoring your computer through system restore, simply keep tapping F8 during boot, & press Repair your computer.
(note, it will restore your computer to last good configuration, so you may loose your recent data)

Lock code factory reset

DFW reset, which is to press and hold both home and power buttons while plugged into the computer where your backup is. When the itunes logo appears, restore from that backup, and you would be fine. If you don't have a backup, the only thing you can do is restore as a new iPad, then manually replace all your purchases, apps contacts, and music.

Where is my reset button on my asus laptop

I don't think I've ever heard of a reset button on a laptop, but you do have some other options to turn the computer off if it's locking up or something. You could take out the battery and put it back in, that would pretty simply shut it down. Alternatively, most computers can be manually shut down by holding down the power button for around five seconds. Just reboot after shutting it down and it should have the effect you're looking for. Hope this helps!

I cannot shut down or restart my PC using the start menu prompts. The only way to shut her down is a hard shut down (manually turn her off).

There is a program that is failing to shut down in general, which is delaying the computers ability to shut down.
The next time you shut down, make sure you have no programs open. Then, while attempting to shut down, wait until Windows pops up window asking you to close a non-responsive program. When it does, take note of the program that it mentions, then close it and see if Windows shuts down. Note: sometimes this takes a really long time.
Try re-installing the non-responsive program and see if your computer can shut down normally again.

Thomson lyra 6675 mp3,wenever i start it, its locked n shuts down

There is a slide switch on the top of it that locks the controls. If this is in the locked position then the devices shutsdown again!

Also, the 6675 does the same thing if the battery is flat .... appears to start and straight off again!

Computer will not shut down

Update and run your virus control scan

Run a registry cleanup if you have a program for that

Go to toolbar>tools>internet options>general tab and delete all
cookies

Go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools >clean disc

If you have a separate spyware program ,scan for spyware

How many programs do you hae running in the background?Look at the lower right corner and the little icons there. Turn off anything unneccessary (leave your virus control and spyware control on)

After you have completed all this, get back to me if your computer still will not shutdown or restart.

Does it have an on and off switch? You may have to use it, but you may lose things, so do all of the above and get back to me?

Mp3 player says key locked system shut down

I had this same problem on another RCA player.. with no instructions manual it was hard to figure out what keys locked meant. Then I noticed a little slider on the side of the player, it has a little icon of a pad lock on it. Once I slid this back, the keys lock problem went away and I was able to listen to my music once again.

My best guess of what keys locked means.. you don't want you mp3 player to turn on when you put it in your pocket with your keys, so you change the slider to be locked, when your sit down and your keys are pressing against your on button, the mp3 player will shut off... as we all have experienced in frustration.. saving your battery.

Perhaps RCA should make this slider bright orange so it pops out and does not blend in so much, or they should put it right next to the on button.

The unit has a hold button which when you accidentally slide to one side, will "hold" or lock up the unit, to unlock this, simply slide the hold button to the opposite side.
