You must install the drivers for your hardware.
Just download the drivers from HP website, and install.
Enjoy.

I'm sorry to said that Asus C90S does not supports windows 7. You can see by yourself at this link. That's the reason for not working your camera. I suggest you either stay at Windows XP or try to use the Windows XP drivers with win7, but I can't be sure if it will work.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.

Normal 0 Double Click on this site
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AMCap.htm
to download the Free AMCAP Video Capture Program.
AMCap v9.20 AMCap is a small yet fully functional video capture application compatible with Microsoft DirectShow. It is based on the sample AMCap from the Microsoft DirectX 9 SDK. AMCap supports still captures to BMP, JPEG and PNG formats and it remembers your Video Input, Video Standard and Video size settings from previous session. It has some nice features like multimonitoring support, zooming, aspect ratio and deinterlacing features.

AMCap is a small and effictive piece of software and definitely worth trying. Hope this will help. Bud

well i had the same problem... after installing the driver and clicking the hamcap, a dialogue box appears saying that there is no video capture HARDWARE (means that the computer does not recognize the hardware) ...

Suggested solution:
Well what i did was to unplug the usb cord of my webcam and restart the computer... then plug back the usb cord of my webcam... then on the lower right of my windows it says new hardware found.. then click on install hardware... then click the hamcap short icon and walla!! there you go it works...
hope this helps... :)

Webcams have the capture built-in (I assume it is a USB connection) Use Movie Maker (comes with most versions of Windows OS), and select the camera from the device list for Capture.
