remember as puppies drink from their mother they are really only getting drops at a time , you are now feeding them through a bottle where now they are getting way more than before .

if you over feed them milk will come out their nose and that can create more problems they can get milk in their lung where if it persits it can turn into nomonia and they can die .the puppies will eat when they are hungry let them slepp they will be ok as they get bigger they probably will sleep longer hours then as they get about four months they will get a little more active .i have raised 12 american bulldogs and fed 7 recently bottle feed alot of headaches and in the end they turned out very healthy. just be very careful when feeding as i said before they can get the milk in their lungs and possibly die ,

Puppies do spend a whole lot of time sleeping.
Personally, as a previous dog breeder myself, I would just let them sleep a bit longer. They will want to feed when they get hungry.

Homemade Cream Soda

Cream soda is a delicious treat, especially on a hot summer day with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Its so easy to make all it takes is a little patience.

Ingredients (recipe for 500ml bottle):
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch of yeast
  • water

Using a funnel pour the the sugar, vanilla extract, yeast and water into a half liter bottle.
Shake the bottle until all the ingredients dissolve.

Then leave the bottle to sit at room temperature for up to 48 hours. You want the bottle to feel hard when you squeeze it, this means that the yeast has fermented to make the fizz. Make sure not to leave it in a hot place or left alone for longer than 48 hours because it may explode and you'll have a sticky mess!

Once its hard place the bottle in the fridge for between 24 and 48 hours to stop the fermentation and allow the yeast to settle at the bottom. Make sure not to shake the bottle up you don't want to have yeast floating in your drink.

If you find that this recipe tastes too much like yeast you can experiment with using more sugar and vanilla.

TRAINING YOUR PUPPY TO USE A PLAY PEN

Having a new puppy in the house is great fun. But it makes sense to think ahead to when your puppy has grown into a full size dog and might be more in control of your household than you are!
By following some basic training tips when they are puppies, you can establish some really good behavioral patterns with your dog that will make your life easier in the long run and protect your furniture and belongings from unnecessary damage.
Don't feel too guilty if your puppy whines and moans at being put in the playpen. They have a need to be close to you in their early weeks of life but they will soon learn that you are not leaving them, just helping them learn some good habits. Without a playpen or confined area puppies can cause a lot of damage to your property or injure themselves.

1. First rule is to make sure your puppy has done his bathroom business before you put him in there. But you can put a special material for your puppy to toilet on while they are in the playpen.
2. Your playpen should be put in an area that is familiar to your puppy. This area will become your puppy's own play yard.
3. Your puppy's sleeping area/box should be put inside the play pen so that he gets used to being in there a lot. Put soft blankets and other comforts inside so he enjoys the space.
4. Your puppy needs a water bowl that can't be knocked over easily. If you leave your puppy in the play pen and then go out for a long time and they knock the bowl over, they will have nothing to drink. Likewise, buy a bowl that is not made of glass or ceramic to avoid any breakages and injuries.
5. You need to leave your puppy a selection of toys to play with in the playpen. About 4-6 toys is a good number and you should rotate them regularly. Chewing toys are also a good idea to buy along with rubber and puzzle ones.
Now you have set up a comfortable and safe environment for your puppy, you just need to put him in the playpen for a short time and slowly build it up so that he gets used to being in there. This will allow you to leave him alone for longer periods of time, knowing that he isn't wreaking havoc in your home while you are out.
Good Luck!

Is it true that San Pellegrino's bottled water contains uranium?

The uranium in San Pellegrino was reported by a German TV program in 2007. But Nestle later responded by saying that all bottled and even tap water contains levels of uranium, and that the levels in San Pellegrino are safe, though they advised infants under the age of 12 weeks not be given San Pellegrino.
