Sounds like one of those plugs where you need to insert a small screwdriver in and lever it apart..

GE Trivection JT930SOH1 Oven, touch screen not lighting up

The thermal fuse in your GE Trivection JT930SOH1 oven is likely located behind the touch screen control panel. In order to access the thermal fuse, you will likely need to remove the control panel.
Before attempting to access or repair the thermal fuse, it's important to ensure that the oven is unplugged and that you have taken proper safety precautions, such as wearing gloves and eye protection.
Instructions to access the thermal fuse may vary depending on the specific model of your oven, so it's recommended to check the owner's manual for your oven or contact GE for instructions.
However, in general, you may be able to access the thermal fuse by first removing the control knobs and screws that secure the control panel in place. Then, you'll likely be able to lift the control panel off of the oven to access the thermal fuse.
It's important to note that the thermal fuse is a safety device, and it's designed to blow if the oven overheats. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced. If the fuse is not blown and the touch screen is still not lighting up, it could be a problem with the touch screen itself or a problem with the wiring or other electrical components of the oven.
It's recommended to contact a certified technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

I blow a fuse in the house when i turn my dryer on. A Zanussi TCS683LT. Have tried different plugs and the same happens.

It's not a switch your looking for but a thermal cut out which would look like a resister. But it sounds like there is a short that keeps tripping your fuse.

How do I open the dashboard hvac controller on my 2007 chevy tahoe. The panel controller had iced tea spilled into it and its now dark no power to it no switches work. Radio, parking pedal adjuster and...

Look at the bezel/trim around the controller. Most newer vehicles, the bezel just pops off(pry off with a flat screw driver, go around the bezel). Some have hidden screw. Look for small plastic plugs(pop them out), usually on the bottom of the bezels. Some bezels go around just the controller and radio. Some reach up around the instrument panel also. Look for screws there also. Once the bezel is off, you will see the screws to remove the controller.

My Alesis Transactive Mobile PA is not working. The charging light illuminates only when initially plugged in, then turns off. I'm thinking the battery may be dead even though I've only used t

Mine works when plugged in, but dead when not plugged. Found fuse, subtly hidden in lower part of AC power receptacle; pried out with small screw driver. Looked good & passed ohmmeter check. I loved the beast when it functioned. It spent a year in the garage; it didn't work when I brought it in. Charge light on for 8 seconds after plugging in, then off.

2003 lincoln town signature truck will not open with remote or button inside vehicle only open with key

I think you just have an issue with the power locks, not the remote(they may be on the same fuse, though). Most trucks will have the larger fuses in the underhood relay/fuse center, but look in the owners manual. If the fuse is blown, note what else is on the circuit.(I had to charge many a customer a crazy amount for a fuse and the diagnosis time because they let a nickel fall into the cigarette lighter socket).

Model # jvm1340aw003 I think it has blown a fuse? Where do I find the appliance fuse in the microwave? My email address: [email protected] Thank you in advance for your help, Mike

If the microwave control panel doesn't light up, then your fuse is blown. unplug the microwave. unscrew the vent grill, (2) screws at the top of the microwave. then you should see 1 screw holding the control panel. after removing that screw, gently push up then out. there should be a metal plate on top of the control panel. remove that plate and the fuse will be in that opening. remove the fuse and check for continuity across the fuse. Replace fuse and plug microwave back in. control panel should light up.

My dryer is a kenmore 110.61082000 and it wont start. it keeps displaying check lint screen even though it is completely clean and the sensor bar is clean. what is wrong?

The thermal fuse located on the blower housing is blown and since it is wired in series with the motor, power to the motor is terminated, the motor will not run and no dryer function works. Disconnect power then pry the lower access panel off with a flat-head screwdriver as shown.

Remove the hex-head screw from the lint duct bracket and remove the bracket. Remove the two hex-head screws from the lint duct and remove the duct to expose the thermal fuse on the blower housing.

Bypass the thermal fuse by disconnecting the wires and connecting them together. Insulate them properly and plug the dryer back in. The thermal fuse is indeed blown and needs to be replaced along with the thermistor if the dryer starts. Do not use the dryer with the thermal fuse bypassed due to fire hazards. Let us know if you need further advice.

My garmin nuvi 650 na keeps depleting its battery even though I just fully charge it on the computer. It also does not charge when I plug it in the cigarette lighter in the car. The screen turns dark...

well if you have the factory car charger. There is a fuse inside of it. This is indicated in the manual. But it could also be the cigarette lighter fuse in the car is blown. I would make sure the cigarette outlet has power. If the cigarette lighter has power and you have the factory power cable that has a fuse try this. f the unit will not charge in your vehicle, you might need to replace the fuse that is located at the tip of the vehicle adapter.
1. to change the fuse unscrew the black, round end piece on the vehicle power adapter and remove it. inspect the fuse to see if it is blown. If not end here.
2. if determined the fuse is blown remove the fuse (glass and silver cylinder), and replace it with a 1A fast blow fuse.
3.ensure that the silver tip is placed in the black end piece. screw on the black end piece
let me know how this works by following up with a comment and i can instruct you on where to go from here. Thanks.
