Question about Tomtom GO GPS Receiver
I tapped "yes,I want to connect to my computer" on the sat nav screen but nothing happens after that on the pc screen or sat nav screen.
I had a similar problem with a GO 720 which I had connected to the PC via a USB hub. The problem was solved by connecting the Tom Tom to a USB on the PC (rather than connecting to the USB hub).

I presume that you are using the docking unit, so plug it into a usb with the tomtom turned off, then when you turn it on it should boot up the tomtom home prog.
If that doesn't work, remove any existing tomtom home prog from your PC and try again.
Download tomtom home from your CD or from the website.
If you have aquired the unit second hand it may be blocked due to security reasons.
The only way to sort it then is to mail TomTom and give them your serial number and an explanation !
