Hi,
Beep codes are usualy heard when there is a problem with either your display card or your RAM.

Your problem could possibly be a faulty CPU.
Does your CPU work in another board, or can you try another CPU in your board?

HI,
I am sharing some general info:-
If you are change processor no problem, some point see you like after change processor any beep sound, processor more hitting.
Second check it *********** board power come or not, your display cheap more hitting or not. Check RAM proper connect, your all cable proper connection. If all things ok then may be your PC not supported processor.

Thanks..

My Ram is 512MBytes and Motherboard Chipset model is i945GZ. Can i use 2GB Ram?????

Hardware Support
The Biostar i945GZ 775 SE supports RAM a maximum of 2GB using its two 240-pin DIMM slots, each can be populated by a 1GB stick. The board supports DDR2 400 or 533. With two identical RAM sticks installed, the board will switch in dual-channel mode operation. For the support of processor, the board can accommodate Intel Pentium 4, Core2Duo and Pentium D, even Celeron D, all with clock speed up to 3.8GHz; and all are based on a LGA775-pin socket architecture. use an Intel Pentium D 820 2.8GHz (dual-core, Smithfield) processor on this board. use the following components to complete the system: CPU: Intel Pentium D 820 (Smithfield) 2.8GHz, dual-core
RAM: Hynix PC2-3200 2x512MB (1024MB) DDR2 400 HD: Seagate SATA-I Barracuda 7200.8 250GB CD/DVD-ROM Drives: HP dvd640, Phillips DVD-ROM

My DG41TX works perfectly with dual core processors, but with core 2 duo not, do 3 beeps and dont show any video, what i must do?? my core 2 duo is E8400 my dual core is E2180 Bios Version:...

The POST beep code - 3 short beeps mean RAM failure.
Try reseating the RAM modules.
If this does not solve your problem then remove all the RAM modules and insert one RAM module at a time into memory slot 0 (1st memory slot) to determine which is the faulty RAM module.

Aces Aspire M1640 desktop-pc starts but the monitor says NO SIGNAL. Tried various monitors and videocards without result. Can't find what mainbord is in it to have it changed. Regards, Toine

black out can be caused by series of things. Power supply is one. Second is the motherboard, memory and the processor aside from the video card. Motherboard and processor can be isolated, first is to remove the rest of the devices such as hard disk and cards and memory. Beep sound means your board is still doing fine. Re install all the devices and power on again. Good luck

It is a memory problem. Verify if they are plugged in the mainboard slot.

No display even after the system boots

You either have a dead CPU or a dead motherboard or a partially-dead power-supply -- the power-supply should supply different voltages to different computers, i.e., one voltage to spin fans, and a different voltage to power the RAM, and a different voltage to power the motherboard. So, it can be "partially" dead.

Borrow a power-supply, and try that first.
If all else fails, take the computer to a qualified technician.
