Question about NEC-Mitsubishi MultiSync 1735NXM Monitor

NEC-Mitsubishi MultiSync 1735NXM

The monitor is less than two years old. It jsut went lbank on me one day while transferring files. Now upon reboot it goes on for about one tenth of a second nad then shuts down. It does the same on other computers as well.

My NEC MultiSync LCD 1765 monitor boots up to the lowest resolution available. When I attempt to correct the resolution through the Display Options in my Control Panel Settings, I set it at the highest...

Try connecting the NEC to a different computer, to see if it correctly accepts 1280-by-1024.
If so, then there's nothing wrong with the monitor, and the fault lies with either the video-adapter in your computer, or something messed-up with your installed copy of Windows.
Try replacing the video-adapter.

Please check all the pins at both ends of the VGA cable, mre likely to tbe the problem there. Also try it on another PC just to make sure it is not the video card problem.

Multisync 1735nxm screen dosent work

Your video card may be the issue. Can you try another monitor or try this one on another PC? This will eliminate or verify the monitor.

DVI port not working

change the resolution of the screen the computer does not suport that resolution, if you chang that will be ok.
