Question about Toshiba Satellite M45-S165 Notebook
It was working fine until yesterday, when the LCD screen stopped working - i mean it is turning on and the Cd tray is working too but the display isn't working anymore:( Any solution!
Try using the function key for your display options
You should see a key related to your function key, generally a different color then the rest, labeled (F, Fun, FN, etc...) then look for a CRT/LCD, or LCD, or a symbol of a rounded square, or something resembling a monitor or screen.
Hold Fn and press that button, give it a few seconds. It should switch.
You can also hold a flash light up to the screen and see if there's any image, if this is the case then parts need to be replaced.
If you have any more questions please let us know. If this information has been helpful, please take a moment to rate the solution. Thank you.
