Question about Toshiba Satellite P15-S479 Notebook
Screen went black.
Hi, Below is a copy of my posting for a similar problem. ...Try re-seating your memories. They may be located at the bottom of your laptop covered by a lid or panel held by a screw or 2. Once the memories are exposed, move the retaining clips slightly away from the memories moving sideways. The memory will slightly pop out and you can proceed to remove them. Use a pencil eraser to rub/clean on the little gold contact strips. Re-insert and lock in place. In some models the memories are underneath the keyboard. If this does not solve your problem, your next best move perhaps is to seek professional qualified services to diagnose/repair you laptop. In some instances, the repair could include video card or even memory replacement. Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things went or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
