ASUS P5KPL AM/PS front audio not working


Is the front panel audio connected to the motherboard? With any problem involving Wigglies(electirics) you should check your connections first, then fuses. In your case just the connections.

Asus p4u800-x motherboad. When the computer turn on there is long continues beep and the cpu red light does not light up. But the green LED light up.


basically this is your motherboards way of saying its broken and most likely not repairable, however this may also me the motherboard telling you that the ram of cpu fan are not running properly if it's ram replace all modules and try again if its the cpu fan try replacing it with a new fan

The only drivers ASUS has available for this board are for XP and earlier. If they don't work with Windows 7, you have two options. One is to install a PCI audio card in an open slot. Any new board should work with W7. The other is to use a USB sound adapter so you don't have to open the computer case. Either of these methods will get your sound back.

I have a asus motherboard p5pe-vm (865) . audio driver of motherboard are not work in windows7. please explain what i do.


did you try downlaoding the audio drives from ASUS website or try going to control panel then device manager then look for your sound drives then right click that driver and try to update the drivers there. If that doesnt work try uninstalling it then reinstall it hope this help you out

Dear frind its a normal problem... try this step insert *********** board Driver cd then... go the location and Install it -- I:\Drivers\Audio\NoHotfix\2K_XP\AsusSetup.exe (I = Dvd Drive)

If you have the 32-bit version of Windows XP install click this lick to install the driver from asus.

If you are running Windows 64-bit edition (most poeple are not)click on the link below to download the driver from asus.

I looked for drivers for Windows Vista, I'm assuming Vista autodetects the hardware.
