Deleted or missing Channels

I have a 20 yr old Fisher PC340c TV that works great. The only thing is I am unable to get all channels on my TV. I think they were deleted. I do not have the original remote. Is there a reset button or some other way to get these channels?

Recently acquired a Fisher PC203 television. Connected to cable and chose CATV. Great picture but cannot get tv past channel 40. Do not see a menu button to add or delete channels. Did not come with...

If I remember correctly, this is an older model set (late 1980, early 1990 I think). Many cable systems of that era didn't offer the large number of channels they do now, and the cable tuning of many sets was very limited. Most cable companies required you to use a converter box to get all the channels. So you probably aren't missing anything, the set just can't do more.

Symphonic 20" television will only get three local channels

I suspect your tv has gone back to air and should be in cable mode; you will have to go into menu where channel programming takes place. Select cable and autoprogram; it should pick up the missing channels.

If its a digital television and has a remoten sensor just buy a universal remote and configure it to your TV.
If it responds then you can search and store the channels you missing.

No channels above 47

That works great except I can get the tuner to program any channels above channel47. Is this a limitation of this older model TV yes there is limitation in old tv. is there some setting I can change in order to get more channels using the tv tuner? in INDIA what we do is put a remote control ckt which gives us about 250 channels. of course we replace tuner also called hyper tuner along with remote ckt or replace whole kit which are cheaply available.& serves the purpose. hope this will help

Lost channels 2 through 52

I think the low band (Channel 2-6)in your tuner is not working. This could be in the tuner itself or in the band switching circuits. Possibly she deleted the low channels or locked them out. Stargazer
