Question about LG DLE2514 Electric Dryer
The lights that come on are what the machine is going to do for the entire cycle. If you notice it will start to flash towards the end of the cycle. That is when it's actually "cooling" the clothes to try and reduce wrinkles. The dry light flashes while it's drying. As for the not heating at all you need to check for blown fuses or popped breakers.

I replaced one of thermostats and fixed the "not heating" problem. I had a local parts dealer test both thermostats to tell me which one was bad but had to order the part on-line as you have to go through LG's supplier to get it. Shipping was almost as much as the part.
Thanks for the post on the cooling light not an issue.

I have the exact same problem. The cooling light stays on and the dryer does not heat. Otherwise, everything else appears normal. I have reseated the sensors and unplugged the dryer for 20 mins to drain any power left on the board.
Same exact problem! What is the fix??
I have the same problem. My dryer is brand new. Tried using it today & the cooling light is on for the entire cycle & clothes are not drying. This is very frustrating and disappointing. I'm sorry to see others have the same problem. I had expected more from such a well rated washer/dryer...
The cooling light is on and I can't change the temperature. The clothes are not drying.

Normally the cooling light stays lit towards the end of the cycle which is about 5-6 minutes. Guess they want to remove some of the heat prior to ending the cycle. I'm just not sure I recall the "dry" light blinking (which means the heat is on) while the cooling is steady lit. I'm also replacing a few sensors and see if it helps with the slow drying I'm experiencing.
