Re: How to download from computer to PDA

Question: I have a Z22 that's at least four years old without any types of problems. FYI, I have downloaded games on my Z22 prior without any problem. I have enough memory and recently, everytime I down load a game (that is supposed to be compatible and try to hotsync it on my Z22 it will not work. I do the steps of down loading, opening zip, extract and move to quick install, then hot sync. I get the hot sync error message of being interrupted. Anyone have same experience and ideas?

Best site for downloading mobile application.

If you don't want to use Google play, the next best Android app site is Amazon's app store. It offers a featured free app every day (these are mostly paid for apps) that the developer has authorized Amazon to promote it and distribute it for free to others.

However, your question pertains to PDA software apps.. so for the pocket PC apps you can try:

or, you might find this site useful:

i've also had good experiences with Softonic's site:

The syncronizing software for OZ-290HII will not work with my computer, though it installs,it keeps saying (file export failed) and this unit has a USB cable. I followed all the instructions but that...

Hello Sr,

Kindly read this, it may help you.

When the software that lets your computer communicate with your PDA acts up, always check the cables and connections first. Is the USB (Universal Serial Bus) or serial cable connected securely to the PDA (or cradle) and the PC? Is the PDA seated properly in its cradle if it uses one? If everything is in place, visit the palmOne ( or Windows Mobile ( Web site and download the latest version of the HotSync or ActiveSync software that is compatible with your PDA and your computer's OS. Keeping synchronization software up-to-date is important because newer versions fix compatibility problems and usually add new features.

If you have a Palm OS PDA that uses a USB connection, sometimes incompatibilities exist between Windows and the software that you can resolve only by running a special USB utility found at the PalmOne download site mentioned previously. Select your hardware from the drop-down list and click the USB Registry Utility link. Download the USBRegClean.exe file, navigate to the downloaded file, and double-click the icon to install it. Reboot your computer and reinstall the Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager.

Which phone/PDA are you using? Please let us know the exact make and model so that we may provide the link to the software that can synchronize your PDA with the computer. You will also find the software in the disc that came along with your PDA, just install the disc, connect the PDA to the computer and then you can transfer the pics, music etc.

Most PDA's have a software disk that should be installed before plugging in to the computer. Is the PDA windows based? If yes you will also need to download Microsoft Activesync for free from Microsoft Site. ActiveSync is used to sync the contacts, emails, etc between your desktop / laptop and your device.

Hope this helps

Video playback windows media

Import your existing movie into Windows Movie Maker (WMM). If you wish, edit it. When you are ready to publish, WMM has pre-set compression settings for PDA. Once published, copy the file to your PDA memory card using a card reader or RAM using ActiveSync. Note that Windows Media 9 is buggy on VGD machines, and you may see your movie at 1/2 screen resolution you intend. There is no way to fix this. Instead, I recommend Beta Player as an alternative (and more powerful, if uglier) movie player. It is free. Download the Latest Stable Player.
