Your keybard is damagel. now you need new keyboard. Coz keybaord has 102 keys connected through only 24 wires. Wifi+b+n are connect by same wire and that can not be repaired.

SOURCE: I?m unable to detect any wireless networks,

Hello shge2dope,

The wireless lan can be activated (enabled) from the control panel as follows:

•Click Start (lower left-hand of screen)
•Select Control Panel
•Select Network and sharing Center (might be called just 'Network')
•Select the wireless lan adapter and enable it

* Another way might be to select the WLAN icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Then right-click and select the option to enable it

If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating below.

Have a great day,

SOURCE: i have a dell inspiron mini with a dell wireless

1. click on the the icon then right click to go into properties and see if you have it disabled.
if disabled click the the choice "enable" to activate the wireless.
2. If there are no wireless connections in range then you cannot connect.
the distance of a typical wireless card is about 300ft
3. you can purchase a wifi booster antenna for your laptop at you local computer store for a small purchase price.
I hope this helps.
Have a great day!

I have an Acer aspirer 5516 and it wont make a wireless connection

Dear User,

Please make sure if there is phycial switch to put WIFI on a short-cut key like Fn+F3 on the keyboard.
Once you do either of this, the LAN icon near computer date will show sign of a sun for a few seconds and the automatically connect (or you have to provide a network password).

If this does not work you have to then check if WIFI is disabled on the laptop. Go to start> connect to / network & settings > and open the networks window, here LAN/ WLAN / other internet connections will be shown, right click on the WLAN logo and select enable if it is disabled.

Still if this does not work, it means something is wrong with the OS, the PC needs a format.

Wifi not working

Why not? What is happening? Is the wireless turned on? Are you connected to the router? Do you know the password if the network is secured? Has the wifi worked before? There are too many variables that could cause the wifi to not work and you gave us no info as to what is happening.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Wifi problems with Dell Inspiron E1705

LOL, sounds like you didn't hit the correct key or keystrokes.

First of all look in front and on the sides for the Wireless Switch and make sure it is turned on. Then once it is on you can toggle the wireless on or off by Keystrokes. Press and Hold the FN key located at the lower left portion of the keyboard, then hit the corresponding F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the icon of the wireless signal )))) or it will have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal )))). Normally when the correct keystrokes is hit the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off.

How do you turn on wifi for dell latitude d610

There is not wireless switch on this model. To turn on your wireless you will need to hold down FN + F2. If this does not turn on your wireless its most probably disabled in the Bios. To enable it, press the F2 key at the Dell Logo on startup, move down to wireless, press enter and move to wireless control, make sure its set to Fn+F2/App, then move down to wireless devices and make sure it set to on. Press Esc, and save changes and exit.

If i disabled wifi how to i enable in a dell laptop?

The same way you disabled it, there should be an icon on your taskbar for enabled and disabled the WLAN switch. If there isnt you need to go to control panel and go to networks, enable wirless router, search for networks etc. If that does work then you have to go into control panel, change wireless settings or change internet settings and find it that way.

I have a flybook notebook and it cant find my wlan

You might not of enabled it, there are little keyboard short cuts fr all the different things like your blu tooth, your wifi, your screen brightness and sound. Make sure wifi is on. Then go to control panel network connections, should be able to find it there. Otherwise it could be using software to control your wifi card rather than xp managing your wifi.

WLAN disabled

Hi there.
Try this >>>> right click on the wireless icon in the corner of the screen, from the sub menu select enable.
If that is not there look at the keyboard, hold down the FN key and press F2, a blue light should appear when activated.
Please post back with the results.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
