Question about Computers & Internet
When I turn the monitor on, it says VGA Input: No Signal, and goes to sleep. I heard from an employee at a computer store that it could be the video card. I opened the back of my Compaq Presario SR2011WM to try and remove the video card, but it seemed to be connected with the entire computer chip. I would like to know if the video crd is actually the problem, and if it is, then I need to know how to remove it to replace it with another one. when i turn computer on the monitor instantly says vga imput no imput signal. the keyboard is frozen with all the lights on they wont shut off what would the problem be. i have tried unplugging everything and plugging it all back in and still the same result help me please
From what you have described it appears that the onboard video might have malfunctioned, there is no way to replace it, you can however go buy a video card from your nearest computer retailer. you just want to make sure it is compatible with your machine. on another note from what your saying the keyboard is donig i would be wary about spending to much $$ because it could also be your motherboard
