Says it needs an update...I push the symbol and nothing happens

Press the power key and hold it if the screen of your Zumo is frozen. Keep holding the power key while pressing the key that has a plus symbol ("+") on it. This will reset your device and unfreeze the screen. You can also try calibrating the screen by pressing the power key for one full minute.

If this does not work, please follow these steps.

1. Update the internal disk software. Download and install WebUpdater on the computer. Please visit this link to download the WebUpdater.

2. Open WebUpdater on the computer.

3. Connect the Zumo 550 to the computer with its USB cable.

4. WebUpdater will automatically search for updates.

5. Follow the prompts to download any pertinent updates for the Zumo 550.

dealer only its the immobilisor symbol ,try the spare key

Please check if the batteries are placed in the right order. The +ve symbol on the battery should be placed across the +ve symbol on the battery space of the translator. Likewise the -ve symbol should match with the -ve symbol on the device. Try placing the batteries so that they match with the symbols specified on the translator's battery area and switch on the device.

Hi. Set the dial to reset (12 o-clock position) then push button second from right. Now set to program required and press button again. Should work now. Needs resetting every time, this is normal. Hope it works for you.

Disc tray mechanical problems.
Find someone to replace the disc tray for you

HI, the touch pad board has failed. you will need to replace this damaged board asap. this will correct the issue.

Try this turn on the TV push and hold the button display for 10 sec.and the release good luck

is it on steady??? or blinking??? if on steady try pressing nad holding the button with the "lock" symbol on/or above it, thinknits the heat button, for 3 secs it will "unlock" the controls, if blinkin then its a diff issue, may be a bad door switch not recognizing hte door being closed therefore wont start,

Try reinstalling the software and see if that helps..
