Question about Amana AKS3040 Gas Cooktop
I was about to clean my stove top and took the burner covers off as well as the knobs. I sprayed some Orange Clean ligthly on the metal surface...trying to avoid the buners. A few minutes later a clicking started - slower than the electric start when I'm actually trying to turn a pilot on. It's been clicking - I see the little spark firing at each 'eye' - non stop for 30 minutes now. How do I make it stop?
Your spark modual got shorted with the liquid you sprayed in there or spilled you can try unplugging it overnight to let it dry. at least 24 hours or you can take the cooktop of and get a hairdryer and dry out the spark modual.or if you wait 24 hours - 3 days and still not dried out you need to replace your spark modual but more than likley give it time it will fix itself.
