Question about Televison & Video
Mitsibushi VS 5041C Projection TV The picture is pushed in , in the middle of the sides. How can i fix this?
This is either defective convergence or pincushion circuit.
What you need to do, take a voltmeter , open the Projection Tv and check the continuity of all the circuits on the board. If you call a tech, he would take 45 bucks plus other charges like for board, it might be 100 bucks and 50-100 bucks for installation.
In total, that would be cost you any way between 300-500 bucks. I know that;'s frustrating but that's the cost of adopting a monster :(
As of now, the best option would be that you can look for a board online, on
Note - It might be a small Ic blown on any the boards. That would not cost you more than 100 bucks.
The best solution would be call a tech, pay around 45 bucks.he would tell you whether Ic's are blown or you need to replace board.
If that's an ic, he would be able to take care unless, purchase a cost effective service manual, buy board online and Fix it yourself.
The link for service manual is :-
I hope this would help you.

First you must find out if it is a PIP problem, first if you have sound do you have any On Screen Display like can you bring up the menu, or can you see the volume displayed on the screen? If you can't then it's not the PIP board. Not all models have this board but attatched are two pix's that at least show what the board looks like and the caps you change to make it work, and the second shows the bypass, Bypass the board first to see if it is the PIP before attepting any repairs on the board, and if you never use the PIP just use the bypass
Please do accept the solution and revert for further assistance.
