Question about Refrigerators
I have a Hoshizaki ice machine and the control board has a small burn mark. the machine does not go into safety, it keeps water coming as it begins to freeze to cubes. I turn the machine off because of the fact that the circuit board seems to over heat. Any suggestions as to the cause of this? Shouldnt the machine shut itself off rather than allowing itself to continue its harvest and burn?
The machine will continue to run water all the time while in harvest mode. The control board blew, and just needs to be replaced. Controls boards can fry without any other signs of anything else being bad. Hoshizaki ice machines dont have a over heat relay that shuts it down upon oerheating if it is the control board
