Question about Maytag MDB7100AWB Dishwasher
The dishwash does not appear to have power. I checked the power supply from the house and the dishwasher has power. I would like to check the door switch next but I do not know how to proceed.
If power to the dishwasher is OK, then the door latch may be the problem. You need to unplug the unit, remove the inside cover to the door and check the door latch switches (may be a pair) with an ohm meter for continuity. Each switch is a make/break connection. If that is OK, the problem could be a power connector to the control circuit board that could be loose.

1 Wait until the dishwasher has completely cooled after use before attempting to clean the filter. Turn the dishwasher off and unplug it from the power supply.
