You could have a problem in the DM board assembly. First thing to do is open it and see if the DM power supply capacitors are swollen or bad. This could be a very costly repair unless you know how to solder and work on printed circuit boards. If you do not, play it safe and call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

the set is not detecting g a problem, if you can use a multimeter, Go in and find some small fuses that are marked right beside them on the board as F9A)4 and F9A05, if one or more of these are bad, you will need to replace the convergence IC's. If you have no experience with solid state repair play it safe and have an authorized repair person assist you in this repair.

It wont get solved by any resettings.its a very known problem with mitsubishi tv.
just take the DM MODULE BOX out and replace the 4 "bulged" capacitors.after changing this capacitors turn ON the tv it will blink the green lights again for 30 seconds and shut off.then wait for 1 minute to get it internally reset and then ON the tv again .it will reboot and this time it will work fine.nothing much to worry its a common problem and fixing it is cheap too as capacitors would cost just $5 each.
thanks and plse do not forget to accept the solution.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.

Did you try unplug from the wall, and replugging back after 10 min. Also try on a different wall socket, remove power surge if you have one connected.

    Let me know

    Thanks

    K

What does it mean when green power light turns yellow and blinks on and off. tv will not come on

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Which LCD is blinking?

If your top screen is blinking before cutting off, your DS lite has a problem with the bottom screen.

Same problem - loss of picture with green bars flickering

We contacted Mitsu today in Irvine. Sounds to us like they're aware of a widespread problem with this model. Told us to get a Mitsu Tech to diagnose and fax to them the outcome and someone would contact us back within two days. Seems like so many are having the same problem and all about 2.5 to 3 yrs. old. I paid $3,500.00 for mine. I'm not going down without a fight with Mitsubishi. Thought they were #1 in the Big Screen world. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR RECALL BY Mitsu should be in order....They know there is a problem with the power supply module.

Have mitsu model # ws-65813 wont turn on

You have a common problem in the DM (Digital Module), more specifically the DM power supply. There are four electrolytic caps in that supply 16v/1000uf that are bad and likely buldged from heat stress. Replacing these caps and the E2P module, a small stand-up board further back on the main DM board should restore normal operation...
You might be lucky enough to have a tech come out and simply replace those caps in-home. It's not a really big job for a qualified tech.
Hope this helps!
