There could be a short in the wire. meaning that its not getting the proper voltage. do you have any other symptoms? make sure that the breaker is not tripped, and if it is, it very well could be from the dogs eating at the wires. that could also kill your dogs if they get hit with that voltage coming from the wries.

E64 error code electrolux dryer

You have not specified Tumble dryer model so I can not say for certain that my answer is correct. Fault codes can sometimes vary depending on the platforms appliances because today some manufacturers release new models twice a year and thay have the absolutlly right to make changes and improve the efficiency of new appliances (also change fault codes).

E64 - Heater thermostat

  • Thermostat faulty (replace heater unit)
  • Heater unit faulty
  • Wiring faulty
  • Electronic board faulty.

The thromstat may be bad but it sounds like there is a loose connection where the wires plug on to the back side of the thromstat.

Airconditioner fan quit working witch fuse should i check or do you know the fuse configuation for a 2000 bug

Must be blown thermal fuses on the fan housing. This is behind the glove compartment. Each speed setting of the fan has it's own, values are higher as the fan speed increases. Someone that knows basic electronics could replace the blown ones or replace it with OEM unit.

Not heating

Hi, Check the thermostats and the fuse. Make sure the 4" vent to the outsideis cleaned. If it is plugged, it will cause elements and thermostats to go bad.
The thermostats and the fuse must have continuity. If they are open, replace them. All these parts are located in back on blower housing and element housing.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks
Vic

Dryer runs but will not heat. Replaced fuse and

your cycling thermostat needs changed too. the thermal fuse is your last safety measure that goes, which means your cycling thermostat is not shutting down the heat element once it detects the right temp hot air in the blower housing so it let the heat element glow until either the high-limit sensor shuts the heat down or the thermal fuse blows. Change the cycling thermostat and good luck

Replacing saftey thermostat monthly

Clean dryer vent to improve airflow so dryer will not cycle on high limit thermostat. The best way is to use a cordless drill vent cleaner designed to clean dryer vents. Manual brushes are also available, or you can disassemble, clean, and reassemble vent. (if so, use the foil tape when reassembling) Make sure you are not using flex dryer venting. This should also improve dryer performance, reducing dry time.
