Hose will not stay connected to pool fitting

Whenever I turn the pump on, the connection to the pool fitting blows out. It is fitting tight before I turn the pump on.

If this is the big wall fitting 1-1/2" as opposed to the 3/4" wich I want to think it is. It slips in with a quater turn and fit's on two little pegs one of these is probly broken off so it feels tight as you put it in but the pressure tends to tork it out of the wall. these should come as a package set but are sold seperetly. Replace Both pieces, the wall fitting and the wall adaptor. The wall fitting will give you a hard time comming out and you may need to break it to get it out. Just be careful when doing this so you don't break anything else. Usually a small saw cut on the inside of the wall fitting will help a lot. Good luck.

I need to hook up my vacuum to sand pump I can't figure out why it won't fit, I have the cone adapter but nothing fits.

For clarity of terminology, within the pool and spa industry, there is no such thing as a sand pump!
The normal way to attach a vacuum hose so that you can vacuum your pool would be to connect it to the skimmer, or suction port, inside the pool. Not directly to the pump. As that hose is connected to the outside portion, of the through wall fitting, sucking water from the pool, and bringing it into the pump, and then to your filter, and then returning back to the pool, through the return inlet fitting.

I assume you are talking about the flexible hose that is connected with a threaded collar and clamp the hose to the fittings. This can be caused by vibration, warn parts, high pressure or collar not tightened sufficiently. If the parts were installed with the previous pump then they may be worn. If you tried replacing the the fittings then you may want to change the parts to PVC fittings and piping instead. About half of the booster pumps I have seen were connected using PVC piping. I hope this helps.

How do i set up the vacuum for intake pool?

The first thing you need to do is make sure the pump is primed and able to draw water from the pool and return it with full flow to the pool. Now turn it off and make sure that your hose fits into the suction port and that the hose connects correctly to the vacuum head and the pool pole fits to the vacuum head. Next you need to disconnect the vacuum from the suction port and place the vacuum head with the hose and pole connected to it onto the bottom of the pool. Now force the hose straight down into the pool so it forces water into the hose and forces all the air out of the end that connects to the suction port. Keep forcing more and more hose into the pool until all the hose is filled with water. This is called "sinking the hose". The end of the hose can now be connect to the suction port. When the pump is turned on it should start pumping water from the hose into the pump and when flow is able to draw dirt as you move the vacuum across the bottom of the pool until it is clean. I hope this helps.

The hose, where it connects to the pool wall, will not stay in-it blows out when the cleaner comes on

Check the Universal Wall Fitting to be sure the two tabs are not broken. If they are, and I assume they will be or they are word down to far, replace the fitting. It is less than $5 at most pool stores.

Make sure the wall screen is clean. It sounds like you are missing the wall fitting screen. If this is the case you have debrie in the unit and it has plugged the water management system. Take the cover off the head and clear all the jets where the hoses connect.
