Ok check to see if its USB if it is you need to buy a USB cable and plug it into the USB port on the computer. some are wireless witch you need a wireless ethernet card to access them. Check the back for any plugs for USB.

Check that the HP all-in-one print queue is not paused (Windows) or stopped (Macintosh). If it is, choose the appropriate setting to resume printing. For more information about accessing the print queue, see the documentation that came with the operating system installed on your computer.
Check the USB cable. If you are using an older cable, it might not be working properly. Try connecting it to another product to see if the USB cable works. If you experience problems, the USB cable might need to be replaced. Also verify that the cable does not exceed 3 meters (9.8 feet) in length.

Lost printer icon when trying to print....no connection

Disconnect your printer off your computer then try restarting your OS. The printer should be detected if the printer software was installed properly prior to the issue, if the printer will not be detected, try checking the physical connections.

HP Officejet 6210 will not copy, scan or fax. It will print documents from the computer. Any attempt to do the other 3 functions results in it being "busy" and cannot cancel, have to power it off.

Well if it is printing, the drivers are working fine. The copying, faxing and scanning mechanism use the same scanner to copy the image. It seems to be a problem with the scanner mechanism on the printer.Try a reset using the # and 6 buttons while plugging in the power cord.If it works well and good.If you want any further support, an online technician from techbuddies can help you for free. For this log on to http://tinyurl.com/m7ghqz

Hp officejet 6210 won't print

Perform the following steps:

a) Turn the printer on.
b) Open the printer’s top cover.
c) After the print cartridges have moved to the center/home position of the printer, unplug the printer’s power cord from the electrical outlet.
d) Remove the print cartridges.
e) Using a dry, lint-free, clean cloth, wipe the print cartridge contacts, from the top to the bottom
f) The contacts inside the printer may also require cleaning. Using a dry, lint-free, clean cloth, gently wipe the contacts, from the top to the bottom
g) Plug the printer's power cord into the electrical outlet.

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power and disconnect the connection port.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power only.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the connection port from the all-in-one to your computer.

Now, perform the following:

1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.

2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One.
