Not powering on after being turned off

I have not have any problems until friday pm. I went to use it in a resturant & dropped a call.From then on could make calls & rec calls but couldnt hear the person on the other end,but they could hear me.I could text msg just fine.I noticed an icon that looked like a headset by the bat icon. Later that night I powered it off to see if that would fix the problem. Instead made it worse.Now the phone wont come back on at all.I have talked to sony & cingular no help.I have put the battery in the frezer for 1-2hrs,set overnight,charged for hrs, & nothing. From time to time when it was on the charger the right light @ the power button would come on. When I would press it it still does nothing.Is there another way to power this on? I have tried the battery in another phone & it works. Help me please.
