Question about LG 42PC5D Television
I've had my LG 42PC5D plasma tv for less than a week. I've noticed that the sound is about 1/4-1/2 second later than the picture. After I noticed this, I had 2 tvs on the same channel and it was much more pronounced. It is also doing it when I use my Sony surround sound. It makes an annoying echoing because the speakers are not timed right on the TV. I've tried changing all of the settings on the tv and even on my surround sound just to try to match it, but I've had no luck. What should I do? Should I send it back or have someone look at it?
I have the same issue. The audio seems to be okay through an antenna input, but not through an outside source input. There is about a 100ms audio lag, and the video is processed about 50ms faster than normal, making a total audio lag of about 150ms. To fight this I run any audio source through a separate receiver/stereo. The problem is now cut back down to the 50ms video lag difference. I am going to try putting video signals through the receiver too, maybe to induce some lag there and even things out even more.. Using the digital output does not help any (I've tried it), any audio is still processed by the tv and therefore slowed down.

Turn the volume on the TV all the way down. Its becasuse you have the sound come from both sources. its kinda fun to play with.
