Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Turn printer on,
Disconnected power cord on the back...
Press & hold #, 6 keys while connecting power cord, Keep holding till screen shows reset or shuts down..
Make sure the cartridge access door is closed tightly.

I have a 6110xi. After a power outage it won't reset. During the initialization process he scanner keeps trying to move past the end of the glass screen and make grinding noise.

Either there is a piece of paper so small it's hard to see,or one of you're sensors could be stuck in down position,if a sensor is down just lift it back up.if that's not the problem,i need to know if it trys to p/u paper and gets stuck.

Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.
