Frigidaire Dryer Model FLGB43RG

My dryer starting burning and cutting my clothes across a life that is about an inch and a half. It started a number of weeks ago with just leaving small brown marks where it burned the clothes, now I'm finding "slash marks" on my clothes. Is there something wrong with a part? Will this require me getting someone to come and fix the machine or does it require a part replacement? Thanks!

Those "burn" marks if they have an arking shape to them are smudges from the felt that goes on the drum support above and bellow the door inside the drier. the felts wear out every five to seven years or so. easy repair. send me a model number and i could go into more detail. part numbers ect.

Frigidaire dryer dryer will not run starts for 5sec then stops

frigidaire dryers have alot of problems with the control board,if it starts then fuses are good or it wouldn't run, does it start right up again?if so you have a bad board,if it doesn't start right up again the motor most likely is bad,any error codes?you could have a bad or broken wire somewhere in the dryer but like i said, they have alot of board issues, next time send the model number,if you know where the board is open up the dryer, unplug it first, then when you find the board plug the dryer back in and start it,when it stalls try tapping on the board,it might start again,if not unplug the dryer and look at the board to see if there's any burn marks on it or a bad soldier joint, also it might have a burnt smell to it.

My dryer has started to not dry my clothes completely and when it cuts off the back of it is burning hot. What is causing this??

Hi,

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

I have a stackable washer and dryer the washer works but the dryer when I turn it on it starts and the drum starts to role then it cuts off and I can smell a burning smell I am so tired of washing clothes...

a number of things but first unhook the electricity and take the back off the dryer look for burnt wires ect... it can be plugged with trash lent ect clean out the dryer including the blower wheel housing follow the vent to the housing that is it. Also the next biggest culprit is the elect motor its self if its bad you can order one from the company that made it or a number of companys on line(they will be cheaper) good luck and replace your belt while you are in there.

PLEASE HELP! Dryer cuts off and gives an E68 code.

e68 code

this is a fault code that means there is a stuck key on the board you may have to remove the control panel and check the keys if this does not work you may have to replace the panel or control board

Good luck
