I wish I could tell you that this could be fixed at home. I had the same problem with my Toshiba, I had just payed it off and the warranty was done. I should have purchase the extended warren tee plan. I took it to the shop, and it cost $150.00. This is not uncommon with this product so I have found. And its a hard job just to find anyone that wants to work on TVs any more. I know this is not the solution you were hoping for . But its the truth. good luck DFD
