1997 ford f-150...no power to coil packs or fuel pump

Engine rotates but wont start...not getting power to the coil packs or fuel pump all the fuses are o.k. but 5 fuses dont get power with the ignition key forward...swaped the relays around and still not working....is the powertrain control module(PCM) the problem or should i start looking for a broken wire?

How many coils are on a 4.6 ford 1997 f-150

8 coils , there is one on top of each spark plug , they are located just below the fuel rail but they can all be remove with out removing the fuel rail. But all your coil packs have not gone bad at once , check your crankshaft sensor

Car turns over but won't start

Which engine?

I would first check the following:
Are you getting spark at the spark plugs? If not, check the ignition coil or coil pack.
Are you getting fuel to the engine? Make sure there is fuel in the tank, and that the fuel pump is working.
Check all your fuses to make sure they are OK. A blown fuse to any critical engine component (ECM, ignition, fuel supply) will prevent a vehicle from starting or running.

The dis fuse kept blowing so changed the coils that stoped but it still wont start

Check that fuel or starting fluid introduced to the intake starts or doesn't start the engine when cranking. If it does start, for a few seconds, and then quits, then the fuel pump is not delivering fuel to the engine, or the crankshaft sensor isn't sensing movement and calling for the computer to deliver fuel to the engine.

One can also pressure check the fuel rail to see if fuel pressure is present. Check that you hear or sense a ticking from the fuel injectors as the engine rotates. If no ticking present, or the a noid light for the injectors connected to the injector harness is not blinking, then the computer may be bad.

If the engine doesn't start after introducing gas or starting fluid to the intake, then there is a possible ignition problem which can be caused by a bad module for the coil packs, that the coil packs sit on.

I have an 1999 ford rsnger that wont start

DOES IT HAVE POWER/ A GOOD BATTERY? IF SO CHECK & SEE IF IT IS GETTING FIRE OUT FROM THE COIL PACKS,THE QUICKEST WAY TO SEE IF IT IS FIRE OR A FUEL PROBLEM IS SPRAY A LITTLE STARTING FLUID IN THE THROTTLE BODY,& IF IT CRANKS & THEN CUTS RIGHT BACK OFF ITS A FUEL PROBLEM,FUEL PUMP FUSE,FUEL PUMP RELAY,OR FUEL PUMP,& OR FUEL FILTER, IF ITS NOT GETTING FIRE IT COULD BE A CRANK SENSOR, A CAM POSITION SENSOR,COIL PACK(S) OR A FUSE OR RELAY.

I cant get my truck to start because of the anti-theft lock.

Do you have any engine codes?
Does your fuel pump turn on and do you get sufficient fuel pressure?
Do you get spark? Power to plugs, ignition module, coil packs?

Check all fuses and relays?

2003 ford mustang

this could be a number of problems. check to see if you are getting fire, if not the coil pack might be bad. and are you certain you ar getting fuel to the injectors. if not this could be a clogged fuel line, a bad fuel pump relay, or a bad fuel pump.
