Driver side signals only work when headlights are OFF

I have a 99 Intrepid. all the turn signals work fine when the headlights are OFF. When the headlights are ON, 1. the little left turn green turn arrow on the dash stays lit, 2. all the signal lights stay lit except the passenger side rear. The passenger side front and rear will flash (including little green arrow and turn signal noise) when I turn right, the drivers side front and rear just stay lit when I turn left with no noise. I have checked he fuses and replaced any burnt out bulbs with no luck. Has anyone else encountered this problem. i did notice that when the headlights are on and the turn signals are constantly lit the driver side front turn signal bulb burns 2 elements and the pass side front only burns 1 element.?

What may have happened is either the headlights wiring or the parking lights wiring somewhere along the wiring fused to the left turn signals wiring. Depending on if the turn signals go on when you put the parking lights on or the headlights on.

If the signals come on when you turn on the headlights than you only need to locate the light green wire that comes off the left turn signal harness.

Next follow that wire the entire way back to the firewall looking for another wire fused to that wire as you go.

If there are no signs of this you need to continue looking on the other side of the firewall all the way back to the turn signal and hazard flasher unit which is a black box that connects to a black harness located next to a grey harness behind the knee bolster.

But if the signals come on when you turn on the parking lights than you will also need to check the wiring from the rear left signal and follow that light green wire all the way back to the turn signal and hazard flasher unit.

This should fix your problem, but if not than your problem may lay within the the wiring between the turn signal/hazard switches and the turn signal and hazard flasher unit.

Also you may have a burnt circuit in the junction block. This block is where the light green from the rear left signal and front left signal meet. Don't have a description but if you cannot find it let me know and I will go out to the yard and look myself and let you know.

07 G6 drivers side headlight not working

There could be several reasons why the driver side headlight on your 2007 Pontiac G6 is not working. Some possible causes include a blown headlight bulb, a faulty headlight relay, or a problem with the headlight wiring. It's also possible that the issue is related to the turn signal, as you mentioned that it was staying on. I would recommend checking the headlight bulb first. If it is blown, replace it with a new one. If the bulb is fine, the issue may be with the headlight relay or wiring. You can also check the turn signal switch or the multifunction switch, which controls the turn signals and headlight. It may be possible that the switch is defective or malfunctioning. It would be best to get the vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic to determine the cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.

99 toyota sienna right turn signal lights up when headlight are on. It dosn't flash through flasher or manually, works fine when headlight switch is off

Chances are you have a short or a bad ground in the circuit.
I would check for voltage and ground at the sockets for that side.
The parking light voltage is grounding thru the turn signal side thru the indicator lamp on the dash.

Need to change left front turn single whole ***. come out?

  1. Go to the front of the car and open the hood. Locate the two screws that mount the headlight assembly to the front of the vehicle. The screws are on top of the assembly at both ends. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws. Pull the headlight assembly straight off of the Intrepid.
  2. Locate the turn signal electrical connector at the outer side of the headlight assembly. There is a thick wire coming out of it. Turn the electrical bulb socket counterclockwise to take it out of the headlight assembly.
  3. Pull the turn signal bulb straight out of the electrical socket.
  4. Push in a new turn signal bulb. Reinstall the electrical socket with the new bulb in it to the headlight assembly. Turn the socket clockwise until it is tight. Push the headlight assembly back in place on the car and use and screwdriver to put the mounting screws back in.

Headlights and foglights dont work.Checked fuses and replaced

I had the same problem. The solution to this is something called the turn signal/highbeam switch, located in your steering column. This switch has an actuator of some sort that goes bad after a while. It doesn't allow the actuator to turn back into regular headlight mode, instead disabling it. I went to my local junkyard and replaced it. Everything works now.
