How to fix Sharp LCD model # LC-32SB23U flashing green power light and check and...

If the green power light keeps flashing on and off every second and tv will not power on unplug the tv for 5 minutes, then try this. Keep holding the VOL+ and CH- buttons down while you plug the tv cord back into the wall ac outlet till you get sound and picture for a second or two. You should be able to turn the tv on and off with the power button now. Next turn the power button off and unplug the tv for a few seconds and then plug it back in and turn the power button back on. Watch the screen and see if the sound and picture comes on, best to check in a dark room to see better, if sound stays on and picture comes on a few seconds and back off you have a bad CCFL backlight lamp in the LCD panel. This tv hads (10) CCFL lamps part # RLMPLA029WJN1 cost $15.93 at or $19.49 at in it and if one is burned out it will not let the tv picture be powered on till it is replaced. To check and replace the CCFL lamp you will have to unplug the ac cord from the tv back and remove 10 screws holding the back on. With back removed unplug the wire plug on the power button circuit at top left side of the black LCD screen trim, remove 4 screws holding the top of black trim, lay speakers off it, and release trim clips, (4) at top and (2) at bottom with a flat screw driver, and lower the trim to unclip the LED circuit board at bottom left side on the trim, leave the wiring pluged into this LED circuit board . With trim removed, at top of LCD panel remove the (2) PC ribbon wire clips with thumb nail by lifting up on it to release the flat PC ribbon wire. Lay the tv back on a soft pillow with screen up, and look on the LCD panel front for and remove the (10) silver screws 1/2" long with an arrow mark beside them. Do not remove any gold colored screws or any without marks. The LCD panel screen can now be lifted off, lift the backlight plastic thin sheeting and thick sheet off to see the CCFL lamps. Stand tv up and plug the ac cord back into the power supply inverter circuit board and plug the power button plug wire back in its circuit board on the LCD black trim panel, and power the tv on while looking at the CCFL lamps. If the lamp is dim or burned out, take the (2) white plastic covers off the side ends of the lamps with a flat screw driver and unclip the lamp to replace it, Check the bad lamp sockets, part # QSOCFA003WJZZ, by putting a good lamp in it and if it lights up the sockets are good and the bad lamp was the problem. If all the CCFL lamps do not light up, unclip the top lamps and move them to differant sockets to the center and the center lamps to the top, if the lamps do not light up, then it is a bad power supply inverter circuit board the ac cord plugs into, part # RUNTKA448WJQZ , cost about $160.00 for new one or less if you buy a used one on , replace it. If the power supply inverter circuit board is bad to replace it, unplug the (2) wire plugs at the top left side on the circuit board, take (3) screws marked with an arrow out, use a pair of sharp nose plyers and squeeze the plastic white tip holding the circuit board on the right side careful not to touch the high power circuit backlight plugs on the right side of the circuit board. Pull board straight out to unplug it. Replace with new board and tv should power on now.

My flashlight don't work at all. since I drop it. Coleman LED Aluminum flashlight-2000004480. Also where can I get the same exact one.

In order for someone to help. We need more information, the manufacture name, the exact model number. Usually found somewhere on the device. That model number has to be the longest model I've ever seen. Maybe the LED is bad.

Mazda CX7 front bumper removal

start with the small screws on the bottom, then take off the splash shields running in front of the tires. open the hood and pop the center out of the two big clips by the headlamps, the two big Philips screws on the rad support and finally get someone to help you pull it off. Slowly start from one side and make sure to unplug all of the lights before any tension gets on them. have some carboard or a tire ready to place it on without scratching it

Fonts are symbols, squares, question marks and others.

Perhaps someone is messing with you, and changed your fonts to "Wingdings". Follow the instructions on this page to change your fonts back to something more preferable
  1. Right-click the desktop. Choose "Personalize."
  2. Click Window Color and Appearance.
  3. Click Advanced Appearance Settings
  4. Go through each item and reset fonts (where appropriate) to Segoe UI 9pt, not bold, not italic. (All the settings in a default Win7 or Vista machine will be Segoe UI 9pt.)
OR this old post suggests that a windows update caused the font change, and recommends you reload the fonts

I would think that the internal battery connections have been damaged from the fall. They may only need re-soldering. Any drop on to a hard surface from almost any height can damage your laptop.

Having difficulty getting old spacemaker oven out in order to install new.

There are two screws coming into the top front accessed inside the cabinet it is mounted to. the rear of the unit is hung on clips on the bracket screwed to the wall behind it. Take out the two screws ( sometimes hidden under paint or shelf liner) and have someone hold the front up. Then push up on the whole oven and pull it out towards you. ( get help it is kind of heavy). dont forget to unplug it, and feed the cord down as you pull the microwave out. sometimes you have to pull hard, as the pins on the bracket get bent during installation.

Emachine model W2888, wiring

this is someone more suited for a trained technician, but you can look at the motherboard, where the pins were, and you should see markings like pwr +, pwr -, led +, led -, hdd_led, etc, you will also see markings on the cords that connect to the motherboard, with the same words, pwr+, pwr-, etc, you can try matching those up..

LED Brake Lights diming

I had the same problem with my 2004 TL, and it was the brake light switch. It is very easy to replace. (10 min) I ordered one from for only $6.95. To replace: Remove the black cover under the steering wheel, down by the fuses (held in place by rubber pins and clips - no screws) Locate the switch on the arm of the brake pedal. Unplug the switch, twist the old switch out and install the new one - it's simple!
