Also remove the hose at the back of the washer. There is a restriction about 4 inches inside the hose that traps hairs and everything bigger than a toothpick.

Re: Kenmore Model 44052

You are on the right line, check for blockages again, if all well then check the pump for open circuit electrically, if faulty replace and you should be alright, ensure the impeller (blade) in the pump is clear and will rotate hope this helps

looks to me that you have eather coins, yes, coins traped in the electric water pump mostly a quarter blocking the inlet of pump or a piece or clothing from the hose that comes from the bottom of the OUTER TUB to the PUMP. if not you may have a faulty pump.

good luck to you.

My washer will not go into a spin cycle...I have replaced the ccu and mcu boards and I still have the problem....what could it be?

if the water isn't draining the pump is clogged, send the model number so i can look it up,remove the bottom panel, with a shop vac vac out the water in the tub, next if you have the pump with the middle piece that screws out, loosen the middle part of the pump and vac up the water as it comes out,do this until the water is drained out, then take out the middle clean out piece and make sure nothing else is in the pump and in the hose, put it back together add some water and see if it spins and drains.let me know what you find and send the model number,if the pump humms and water doesn't drain the pump could be bad or something is still stuck in the pump

My Kenmore Calypso Elite HD Top Loading washer quit cycling through a complete wash today. I've drained all the water from the interior hoses and found them clean and uncloged. The washer belt looks good...

The code on your machine stands for 'Long Drain'. Ld flashes if it takes longer than 5 minutes to pump out water to a point where the operating pressure switch resets. Check the intake and exit hoses of the recirc pump for debris. It's easiest to get to the pump through the front panel of the machine(click here). Looks like this: click here. the hoses to the pump have spring clips holding them on. Be careful taking the hoses off, have something to catch the water from the hoses.

Hope this helps.

Flashing code

The following link explains the "FH" error code:

This is one of the more involved error codes to try to resolve because there are so many causes. I suggest you start with the simple things first. Make sure the water inlet hoses are unclogged and water flows freely through them. You can determine this by turning off the water and removing each hose from the back of the washer. Place them in a bucket or position the washer where you can place them inside the wash tub and turn the water back on. Both hoses should have free unobstructed water flow. It is common for the sediment screens at the end of the hoses to become clogged if you live in an area the uses well water, or if you have hard water.

Next, Make sure you don't have a siphoning problem. This is causes by placing the drain hose too far down in the standpipe. This creates a vacuum and the washer constantly drains as it tries to fill. If you pull up on the drain hose and hear a sucking noise, you have the drain line positioned too far in the standpipe. You need to keep an air gap in order to allow proper drainage.

Then, check the drain pump for obstructions. There is a clean out reservoir that you can remove the access the pump interior. Use the instructions I provide to perform these steps.

These are the simple items that you can easily rule out, first. Follow the remaining tips I provided you and if you still have questions, let me know before rating the solution. I hope this helps you.

Kenmore Calypso washer Ld code?

I just had the same problem. I borrowed my neighbors wet vac. The hose of the wet vac fit right over the end of the drain hose and I sucked out all the remaining water. My hope was that if the hose was clogged that it would clear it out. It seems that it worked. I put the drain hose back in the drain and turned on the extended spin cycle. It was working, so I put the water logged clothes back in the washer on the extended spin cycle and it took the water out. I am now in the process of washing another load to see if it really fixed the problem. I hope this helps.

If you have no known issues with your plumbing, it sounds like you either have a failed drain pump, or something obstructing the pump, preventing it from draining. As long as the wash tub is still full of water, the unit will not proceed to a spin cycle. I would recommend you check the drain pump first. The following link explains how:

Make sure you also check all the drain hoses for clogs as well. In particular, the hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Small articles of clothing have been known to find their way into this area. NOTE: Using a wet/dry shop vac will go along way towards assisting you with emptying the washer of all water and minimizing the mess associated with cleaning out the drain pump.

If you clean out the pump and the unit still does not drain properly, the manufacturer recommends replacing the drain pump. The next link explains how:

Normally, a drainage issue is also associated with an error code of either "F02" or "F21, depending on model. Does your washer also show any error codes on the front panel? Now...with that said, the absence of an error code does not necessarily mean you do not have a failed component. For some reason, sometimes an error does not always get generated.

I hope this helps you. Let me know if you have further questions, or still need assistance.

Kenmore Elite Front Load Washer...F02 and SUD not draining!!!!

Probably something caught in pump. Remove lower panel if this one has it and you will see the pump. Loosen the round cover in middle to access clean-out.
