Bond model 65001 electric patio heater won't heat at all

I have a Bond model # 65001.  It has never been used yet, and once it was put together it won't heat.  It came on when we tried it before we bought it.  It has never been dropped or bumped around; just wondering what it could be.  I can't take it back because it has been to long. The bulbs appear to be fine. Thanks for your help.

Our patio heater ignition lights but when you let go of the button the pilot light does not stay on. Have tried blowing out entire workings with an airline and put back together still same problem.

Since cleaning the heaters inner workings did resolve the problem, that leaves only one other thin ... The Thermocouple has failed and needs to be replaced. It's not difficult to do, but does a take a little time and patience. Since you didn't mention what brand and model number heater you have, it's hard to direct you to where to purchase the replacement thermocouple. However, Blue Rhino manufactures most of the Patio Heaters under several different names and models, that's the place to start. Their Customer Support number is 1.800.762.1142.

Hope this helped to solve the problem.

I have a zeus patio heater. the right side element wont come on, but when i put the element in the left side it is fine. Can anyone help?

The burner is either clogged or rusted out on the side that doesn't come ON. You will need to replace the entire burner though, to solve the problem.

Hope this helped you.

Portable patio heater is a DCS Phoenix Professional Patio Heater Model PHF8-DWBZ-L. Burner ignites and operates for a few minutes. Then teh flame is reduced to a short yellow flame. Regulator is covered...

The regulator covered with frost is the problem. It freezes the gas and the gas line up. But, usually this only occurs when it has been exposed to subfreezing (in the teens) temperature for a long period of time. The quick fix, is to soak a bath towel in hot water, ring it out and quickly wrap it around the regulator. Once it thaws, the gas will start flowing again and you can light the burner. Generally, once it's flowing and being used, it won't freeze up again, right a way. Most propane companies add ethanol to the propane in the winter, to help keep it from freezing in the lines and the regulator.

Hope this helped answer you question and provided, at least a quick fix solution.

Stopped heating, where is the heating element

turn off the electricity. unhook the two wires going to the heater. Hook up a meter to the two connectors. set the meter to ohms and ohm the heater out. If it has an open in it replace the heater.
