Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

1 Answer

My new MP3 player does nothing but confuse me?

I just bought the Sansa e260 second hand from a store in the town I live in. The store that it was bought from has no paper work on it or the disk needed to put music on it. Can anyone help me please. Otherwise I am screwed and I really want to use it?

I connect sansae260 to PC, Nothing apears on Sansa's Screen

You may need to now reset the player, that may have been a bit much for it.
To reset your Sansa Mp3 player.
  1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
  2. Release the Power switch.
  3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.
If that does not get your player working again, try and Format to clear any corrupt files that may be present.

There's actually another mode, MTP. Files in this mode won't show up in the other mode.

Sansa e260

If it is still in-warranty, you can try calling Sansa - they will give you THEIR price. It is definitely NOT cost-effective to repair an Mp3 player. Go to eBay and pick one up second hand if it was very expensive initially.
