You can use a sfty pin to carefull bend them back without breaking them is the only solutions I have for you unless your monitor cable can be detached and replaced.

If only ONE colour is missing - it is usually just the VGA connector that is not plugged in properly or you bent a pin while connecting the monitor to the PC.Unplug the VGA cable and look at the pins and make sure nothing is bent .. then re-insert the VGA connector properly. That should fix it.

Good Luck

Make sure it is plugged into the right connector on the back of the pc. If you have intergrated video and a later installed video card make sure it is plugged into the right one. Does the monitor say "no signal"? Have you tried a different monitor to verify that the connection works. Also try a different cable, as the cable could be bad.

The color on the monitor suddenly has a blue tint that I am not able to change.

have you removed any of the VGA connectors at all ? - have a look on the plugs for a bent pin - quite a common issue on VGA plugs - that even when bent they will still screw into the socket and depending on which pin you can get a colour shift

PC is not working. Monitor message says 'monitor

Check to make sure that you have it plug all the way in to the video card. Also make sure that the video card itself is seated or pushed in good.

You could possibly need a new video card or the pins on the plug coming from the monitor could be bent.

The monitor is green the color is not

Check the pins out on the monitor and make sure they are straight, even and none of them are bent cause if the cable goes in with bent pins that would cause weird colors to come up on the screen.

Also make sure its connected to the video card properly as well and snug. If that still doesn't fix it, try another known working monitor on the computer and if that works then the lcd is bad on your original monitor, if you still get green even with a new monitor then its a problem with your video card.

Monitor black

Try looking at the Monitors Plug, Look directly into the Plug, you should see 15 small pins inside the plug.

Sometimes one or two of these pins get bent over and no longer makes contact. If you do see a pin than is not pointing straight out like the reset, the best thing to do is to use a small pair of needle nose pliers to gently straighten the pin. Be very careful becouse once a pin is bent it can break easily.

The cable from your monitor must connect to the Monitor port (middle and right on picture). Be CAREFULL not to force the connection. The cable only fits one way and you can damage the pins if you force it. If it won't plug in easily, then rotate the plug 180 degrees and try again.

If your connection seems inadequate, you may have bent one of the pins. If you suspect a bent pin, look into the end of the connector on the cable to see if one or more of the gold colored pins are bent. You can straighten the pins yourself with a needle-nosed pliers or a small blade screw driver use gently, otherwise try to get a replacement monitor cable.
