Question about Insignia IS-DVD1001 DVD Recorder/VCR
I'm having a problem with the insignia dvd recorder. It just started randomly opening and closing the dvd tray without a disk in it. I recorded a dvd today and it wouldn't let me initilize or finalize the disk.
This problem sound like a component failure in the drive circuit of the dvd player. These type of intermittent problems are usually caused by overheating of the components. This unit should be taken into a service center and tested for bad components. This may be just the start of your problems if you do not check it out.
