You do,not need a driver to tranfer pictures from camera to pc,first make sure you turn camera on,highlight the words camera, click ok on your camera.the download should start,if it does,nt start you need some kind of print programs.they should help you access your pictures, also if the computer recognizes the camera as removable media. you can go to my computer, right click on it,click open and look for pictures.good luck. hope i helped

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Windows XP will not recognise the PF1800 USB scanner.

lease download and expand this ZIP file. The resulting folder contains files that need to be copied to varying directories.

It may well be that you need to make some system folders visible to theWindows Explorer before you can copy said files into them:
Choose "Tools" > "Folder options" > "View" from the Explorer's menu bar. Then please apply:
- hide protected system files: disabled
- show contents of system folders: enabled
- show hidden files and folders: show all
I recommend also, you want to disable "hide known file extensions".
Then please copy:
usbscan.sys > c:windowssystem32drivers
1394scan.inf > c:windowsinf
all other files > c:windowssystem32
Now you are ready to update the driver again:
(1) Windows key + Pause (or: open "System" from the control panel)
(2) Hardware > Device Manager
(3) Imaging device > unknown device > right-clicking > Properties
(4) Driver > Update driver
(5) Don't let Windows choose the device automatically, but choose the appropriate device yourself.
(6) The INF file necessary for the driver is named "1394scan.inf" andis most probably already located in the directory c:windowsinf
Please note: Even when the scanner is connected to USB (instead of firewire / IEEE1394) you need to use this INF file.
8) To complete your driver installation, restart Windows.
Check in the device manager if the scanner can now be detected.

Sansa e200

There is one option, not really a fix, just a workaround. Try the player on a different computer computer and see if it is recognnised there. If it is, then use something like a pen drive to transfer music from the PC that doesnt recognise the device to another that does. Now you can transfer music using the WMPlayer sync service.

If your device is not being recognised on many computers, it looks like it is time to chuck it away. You can also try this first though..
1. Remove the player from the PC and switch it off.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Hold the +Volume button and connect to computer.
4. Keep the button pressed for at least 60 secs, and you should see the "Found New Hardware" balloon pop up, indicating that the device has been detected.

If even that fails, then I'm afraid your Sansa player has run its course, and you may need to purchase a new player...:(

Problem in loading song in device

Tracks must be transferred using the Musicmatch Jukebox software supplied with the player. You cannot drag & drop from Windows, even though the player shows up as a removable drive. Musicmatch transfers the tracks, and alkso updates the file list on the player. If the tracks aren't on the file list, the player will ignore them.

Also, you need to have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10, as Musicmatch uses drivers from version 10.

If you have Windows Media Player 11 installed, you will need to uninstall it to roll back to version 10.

If Musicmatch still doesn't transfer correctly, click on options / tools, and make sure that the device is recognised as "GoGear" , and not "Removable drive"

My canon S5 IS is not recongnized by Windows XP in my PC

i am afraid this is a microsoft O/S issue. It will not allow 2 imaging devices with twain drivesrs to be recognised at the same time. You have to disconnect one at the usb plug before the O/S can see the other one.

I have a scanner with twain drivers and XP will not recognise my S5 IS until i unplug the scanner. The O/S is recognising the camera as an imaging device rather than a usb mass storage device like for my other cameras.

Either MS need to fix this conflict issue or Canon need to reconfigure their drivers.
