You need a knife to pick the Screw covers out from the back. Also cut the Warranty label at the case seams. Using a #1 phillips screwdriver, remove 8 or 10 screws depending on what model it is. lift the top case cover from the back about 1 inch and pull it forward to clear the cd tray. Be careful of the Reset/Eject button cable if the buttons are attached to the lid. If so, roll the lid Clockwise to upside down keeping the Ribbon cable from getting taught. Your in....
