Question about Motorola Mobility SLVR L7 Cellular Phone

Slvr: Memory Card

I recently bought a red slvr, and tried to install a sandisk 1G memory card. However whenever i put teh card intot the slot, the phone shut off, and i would have to take the battery out/in agian to make it power up again. What can i do to make my memory card work?

Look in your phone manual and look up to what size of expandable memory your phone can handle, for example a motorola SLVR L7 can only handle up to 512mb

the space in your memory card might be not enought to receive a file and save. if the phone is not formatting the memory card,use a card reader.

check your handbook for your motoz3 and find out if it will take 2gb stick then check which format is needed fat32 or ntfs.

the memory card is working with LG shine and not with MOTO slvr, then there problem with your moto set and not with you memory card. There are virus in your MOTO set.

yes the L7 take up to 2gb in memory card try a new card or format it in the pc first then try it again on the phone.

Sd card format


Acording to motorola, The SLVR L7 is limited to a 1G micro SD card. Anything over this will not be usable in this phone.

Memory card won't show


Hi there, your problem might have an easy solution the Motorola l7 supports a san disc memory card and every other similar one but im not quiet sure about media cards so make sure of that.

Well that phone holds up to a 1gb memory card but I would suggest getting a 512mb cause if you full the 1gb it will freeze your phone and it would of no use to you anymore.

My SLVR will not start with the memory card installed...


you need to have the phone firmware reflash.......take the mobile to a mobile service center and have them reflash the phone for you.
