Perhaps you don't have the sound card installed. check your drivers, control panel > system > hardware > device manager. search the sound card, if you can't find him he must be in the unknown devices. if you have a drive cd use it, otherwise you'll have to gogle you sound card driver.

Tip

Why is there no sound coming from my speakers?

If you hear no sound coming from your speakers, there could be several reasons:
1) Check to see if the speakers are powered on.
2) Check to see if the cable is plugged into the speakers and the green jack in the back of the computer.
3) Check to see if the speakers are muted in Windows. Do this by clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray. It has a place to check to mute the speakers.
4) Check to see if the sound devices and drivers are loaded. To do this go to the control panel and click on "sound." Then click on the sound tab. Choose one of the Windows events that has a sound associated with it and preview the sound by clicking on the arrow to the right of the listing. If the arrow is dark and when you click on it the sound seems to be playing, then the drivers and sound card should be functional. If the arrow is grayed out, then your sound drivers are not installed. In either case, try reinstalling the sound drivers.
5) If you've tried all this to no avail, try with another set of speakers.
6) One thing that may work is to do a system restore back to the time the speakers were working.
7) If nothing works, I would suspect that you have a bad sound card. Unfortunately, these days sound is integrated into the motherboard, but you could install an add-on sound card.
I have no sounds on my pc?

Have you checked to see if you accidentally muted your speakers?

If that is the case then you can go to Start-Control Panel-Sound and see if the speakers are muted.

Did you have any external speakers connected to it?

If you said yes then they may be unplugged or turned off, or they may have died and you could always go back to making your pc the default speaker.

Go back to the control panel and click sound, here you can disable your external speakers to see if your pc can emit sound.

If that does not work then you may have to reinstall the driver for your sound card or see if your computer even sees your sound card.

I do not have the software on my computer to install the speakers. where do i find it online?

No software is required for (any) speakers!
Just connect the speakers to the outlet and to the GREEN jack on the sound card...
If no sound is heard, make sure the sound card driver is properly installed and the sound is not muted.

Pelu.

Sound is not working

There are some possible reasons why the sound is not working. It could be the volume control is in "MUTE", or the right sound card is not selected in the volume properties, or the speaker is defective.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Try to connect an external 2-channeled PC speaker. The computer should recognize the speaker and the sound should be transferred to the PC speaker. If the sound works on the PC external speaker, then you know that the volume control is NOT in mute and the sound card is selected. It means also that the built-in speakers could be defective.

2. If the same problem occur after connecting an external PC speaker, check the volume control, and make sure that the "MUTE" box is not checked. Then adjust the master volume.

* If everything's properly configured, but there's still no sound, check the volume properties under the Control Panel. Be sure that the correct sound card driver is selected. If that did not help, try to re-install the sound card driver.

* And the last option, contact the manufacturer and have them fix it for you.

Thank you and good luck!

Where i can download the driver

You dont need drivers for your speakers. The speakers will work either way.
e.g With an ipod.
So if the speakers do work with an ipod it might be a problem with your pc. Check that the pc isnt muted and all the basic stuff. Green jack into green plug and so on.
More advanced problems would be drivers for your sound card (see if they
are installed)
Hope it helps :)

Sound does not work

check the audio connector ( color green ) if it is connected properly to audio port ( color green : beside the pink port ) .

Check if you have installed the drivers for the sound device.
Also, if you have the speaker configuration in your system, you can check it if it has just been muted.

make sure .
1. You installed the right driver properly
2. It is not muted .
3. Try to use another speaker, so that you can test if your speaker device is working .

if none of these works, then probably your audio device, doesnt work.

:)

No sound from CA 2014 speakers

Make sure the computer output is set to Analog, not digital. If the Spkrs work with a CD box, they are analog. Speakers don't need drivers unless they are integrated to a sound card. like USB 5.1 systems.

No sound @all .i have all the speakers that came with model T5026,desk top, windowes xp,sounds card, drivers all say thet are working.not even system sounds work.

Open up the sound properties and check to see if it got muted, also make sure your plugged into the right port it is usually green. You did not say if this was new, used, given to you or otherwise. if you bought it from somebody check to see if they did not put another sound card in as well. So check to see if everything is not muted then check your cable again make sure its in the green hole. All else fails a new sound card for this would run you around $35-40 bucks at Frys.com
