Question about Maytag PYE2300AY Electric Dryer
Coin-operated dryer keeps running and won't turn off at the end of the cycle. I have one washer and one dryer for my tenant to use, and can't afford to replace the dryer. Is this something I could fix myself? Thank you for your help. Rob
A dryer timer is a real simple device. Take the whole thing out and give it a good inspection. A little wd 40 can do wonders. A bad coin in the works can jam it on. Put a coin thru the works, watch the action. The timer motor can fail or get stuck, spray and test.
