the vacuum has lost suction. I cleaned the filter and it didn't make any noticeable difference.
The hose has come loose at the top where it attaches to the handle, but we have used duck tape and there doesn't seem to be any loss of suction there. I have the original yellow dyson vacuum. It is about 5 years old.
