timing belt not broke but the teeth and come away from the belt ,its the belt 99% sure of it

The fuel pump is inside gas tank behind the back seat unscrew the only top that's there and it is inside the gas tank. You will have to remove your back seat to gain access to fuel pump. Fuel tank is located in trunk. No need to take fuel tank down. check all fuse and diodes

the starter is located in the valley under the intake manifold. you must remove the intake to access the starter. its a pretty involved job. when reassembling take your time and make sure that every wire is plugged in and every vacum line is connected.

Sounds like the belt broke.

If you can´t tell the diference between a Passat and a Lexus, I would leave fitting a cam belt to the professionals !

Try rotating the ignition switch slightly after you turn it to on and see if the lights come on...had the same problem and changed the switch fixed the problem...
