Want to know if I can purchase this item directly from your company and not in the department store.

I want to know if i can purchase the whirlpool wsher/spinner AWM8900 directly from your office. I would like to know how much this will cost me.

You first contact the company that you made the order with. We are not them. You will get no satisfactory response by continuing to inquire here. We are not the customer service or orders department for whatever company you placed you purchase with.

If you don't know what you purchased, how do you expect us to know? We are not a customer service department of any company nor are we the billing department, shipping department, or returns department. We are a volunteer group that tries to help people fix their cars, appliances, and other items that are broken or malfunctioning. You need to contact the company that you made the purchase from to get your inquiry answered.

Actually the warranty is out so what i supposed to do


We all know that the warranty cards are very important when we purchase some items that have a motor or have a warranty..
I think the best you can do is to go to the store where you purchase your items and ask for a duplicate of your warranty..Because as far as i know they have a duplicate that they forwarded to their company,for the company record..
If you cannot asked for that duplicate you show also your purchased receipt if they will honor it if not then the best you can do is to go to directly to the service center for the service of your items..

You can purchase the small propane tanks at most hardware stores, home depot, lowes. Usually found in the plumbing department. OR go to any camping supply store as they carry them also. These are common items.

I agree and understand your feeling. However, I would like to reassure you that you would have gotten the same service from any of the other manufacturers.
Whirlpool no longer has it's own service department, all repair work is done by seperate companies that contract. The bulk is done by A&E nationwide. Maytag has closed it's service department also, as has Frigidaire. GE still has some company employed techs, but only in select urban areas, most of their repair is also by contractors.
I have no stake in whirlpool or any appliance company, but as a repairman, I hear the same comments as yours almost everyday about one company or another.
The only retail company that offers repair service nationwide now is Sears, which also owns A&E factory services.
The management of the manufacturing companies have given up on the expense of keeping service departments because the stock analysts don't like seeing a company with a large customer service department and will shy away from investing in them. They want a company with low overhead and large profits, no one is interested in a company that tries to set a groundwork of support so that the company is still strong 5-10 years from now.

If you have your receipt - most wal-mart stores have a pretty good return policy. Present the device and the receipt to the customer service desk is the usual procedure.
