Question about Philips 60PP9352 60" Rear Projection Television
I turned on the TV this morning. It was on for about 30 minutes that I heard a sound and the colors immediately were off. It reset itself after about a minute, but then it did it again. I used the remote to try to correct the convergence, but the red won't move enough. I went to the multi red and the lines in the middle were OK, but on the left they were too far left, on the right, too far right. I tried turning off the tv and back on, but the problem is still there. Is this something that I may be able to fix, or am I going to have to pay to fix this?
If you can solder and know components and how they work, you can fix, but the convergence is a hard area to work on. So I would say if you have no or low experience then let tech. There are bad resistors on convergence board. Also maybe loose connection around converg. amps. Hope this helps!
