Washing maching not taking fabic softner.

Hi, this machine is about 7 years old and work fine, except in the last couple of weeks it no longer takes in the fabic softner from the rinse draw. Apart from that everything is OK. Any idea on what's wrong?

Hi, I've tried that, I have now noticed that it takes in the fabic softner on some programmes and not others, any thoughts?

I have somewhat of the same issue. Though the fabric softner compartment is empty, the system empties the fabric softner during the 1st cycle killing any suds I have. Any ideas?

my machine is also doing this and if I put my wash powder/tablets in the drawer it wont take it either.I have to put it direct into the machine.

I have taken it to bits and cleaned it but to be honest it wasn`t that bad no blockages that I can see.

Take the top off, three screws in the back, top front left is the dispencer assembly, you will see some crusties(thats what I call them) on the top next to the moving parts, brush them off and wet that area down and blow to remove other, The moving piece should move freely now, going back to the roman numeral one. the spring is what pulls it back to one but the crusties keep it from moving.

Soak the fabric softner in HOT water. that should loosen the dried caked up softner. if the cup is removable, remove and soak in hot water

My Neff washing maching does not take the fabric softner

Sounds like it needs unblocking....you need to remove the tray that holds the softfenervand unblock the guns that builds up in the tube with a qtip and old toothbrush..thus has to be cleaned periodically..otherwise when it fills up with water on final rinse it won't drain out.

The sewing maching stops while it is sewing - makes a squeeling sound and has a E6 error message, but I don't see any thread anywhere that could be causing the problem

try rethreading the machine top and bobbin
make sure the bobbin is turned the correct way
try another bobbin
try a new needle-one that is for the fabic being sewed
if none of these suggestions help then it would be a good idea to
have the machine serviced

Washing machine fabric softner problem

Remove the detergent compartment itself and clean it all up. Usually such problem is caused by blocked hole for softener. otherwise check coil continuity of the orange coloured water inlet valve

Friend,
ngfam1 At your service!

AFTER 15 YEARS AND THREE repairs.
I threw mine in the trash and bought a Speed Queen Commercial grade washer and thats the last one I will ever by!
8 loads a week for 25 years!!!!!!!

The washers and dryers today use so much less water, electricity, and detergent that they pay for them selves after a only a few years.
My advise is, do not put good money into a washer that is 20 years old! it is cheaper to buy, run, and operate a new efficient machine! You will see you water and electric bill reduced!!!!!!!!!
Speed Queen commercial grade top loader uses only 34 gallon of water compared to the others at 48-54 gallons!
Their front load washer uses, (GET THIS) ONLY 13.9 GALLONS of water and washes in 35 minutes and the clothes are cleaner and last longer cause it uses water agitation instead of a vain to wear out your clothes! How about spinning at 750 RPM and the clothes come out so dry they are only in the dryer half the time than all the other machines! Thus half the gas or electric bill!!
All my employees have replaced their laundry pairs with Speed Queen!
My Guys call it the, "No Brainer Machine!"

I hope you can utilize the good advice I so enjoy sharing with all the good people we talk to!
