You can use a dielectric oil available at most motor repair shops. It is of the utmost importance to make sure the cord seal is in good condition and well sealed

How to disassemble Little giant pump model#psm006?

thats why i like the little giant pumps they are put together with phillips screws not glued like them other guys , i do suggest that if you dissasemble pump and water has gotten inside , replace it not just seal it up and go , wont last long as that means the pump shaft seal has leaked , ther e has been a few folks that add dietary mineral oil to the inside , for use in very deep ponds (over 3 feet) they believe that helps keep the water out

Littlle giant pump model 2e-ndvr what oil goes inside this pump

"pump oil" usually is a fire redardant mineral type , ive seen good uses of dietary mineral oil avail at local phamacy , but is sort of pricey if filling a total pump up with it (allways allow for heat expansion)

no but if oil is leaking out water will be going in and that does not work well, You need to have it serviced

Little Giant pump WGP-90-PW trips GFI circuit

You might have 2 problems. The GFIC might be wired wrong or the pump wirng might be compromised with moisture. The noise issue? Are you running this unit without submersing it? They will burn out if you do. To get a more accurate running sound, submerse it with a flexible pipe so you can run it in a 5 gal bucket without losing the water.
It's possible a bearing is burned out.

Little giant rs-5 remote switch for submersible pumps wont work. When I attach the rs-5 to the plug motor nothing works. when I plug in the pump without the rs-5 the pump will work.

there is a breather tube that has to be above the water level, you can check the diaphragm by plugging in the switch and pump the **** on the tube, if the pump doesn't come on, the diaphragm is busted or maybe there is something in the tube
